Transforming a basic WordPress site into a best-in-class Webflow experience

Mach Industries came to me with an existing WordPress website that fell flat and didn't match the overall vision. They had recently secured a U.S. Army contract and needed a website that reflected the cutting-edge nature of their unmanned defense systems.

To achieve this, I collaborated with the team to build an advanced Webflow website that focused on bringing immersive and engaging animations to life, while maintaining exceptional performance and page load speed. With a heavy usage of video throughout the site, performance optimization was critical. Strategic application of Wistia's video hosting platform combined with lazy loading techniques achieved strong performance scores with Google’s Core Web Vitals. As a growing defense manufacturer actively recruiting top talent, I implemented a custom careers page that leveraged Ashby's API for automatic job feed updates.

The result is a website that exceeded their expectations for an innovative experience and effectively communicates their capabilities to defense contractors, investors and engineering talent.
